It’s hard to take unique photos of fireworks (like this one) when you’re straining to see them from your backyard over your neighbor’s roof.

I don’t know how much I like this Tumblr photoset thing. For one, the permalink image doesn’t appear in the top right corner of these posts. The problem really lies in the way the CSS of the theme I’m using (Fold by david). It’s not terribly robust. In fact, that’s also the reason that italic link “david” above isn’t blue like the rest of the links on this page.
UPDATE
: I was able to fix that link and make it blue again.I think that in time I’ll fix that problem, though. It wouldn’t be too tough of a fix. In the meantime, just remember that you can always just click on the comments link below any post if (for whatever reason) you’d like to get to its permalink.
I’m also not terribly psyched about what kind of extra time that cute little javascript video player adds to the page’s overall load time. Not that it’s that big of a deal for ethernet connections, but mobile? Probably makes a noticeable difference. I’m not really sure, though.
Also, no click-through links? Lame.
